I and my wife would like to thank the Pasadena home health care for everything they did for me. The treatment I received was very professional and helpful. Thank you all that helped us. I hope you continue helping others.

I am a terminal cancer patient. Mine originates from the larynx and due to breathing complications was installed with a tube into my throat making my speaking rather difficult at times and also limits my diet to the liquid kind only.
I was sent home from the hospital March 23, 2007 with a few instructions for how to take care of my throat and how to feed myself if need arises through a tube into my stomach.
I felt pretty lonely but determined to as being at home was a far better choice than staying at County U.S.C.
March 27, 2007 your nurse Patricia Henderson came for the first visit. She was loaded with additional ‘tricks of the trade’ for my home car, took her time to explain everything not only to me but also to a friend of mine and to my sister, who were going to be the every day caregivers of mine. They had many questions as to what to do if this and that unexpected situation should arise etc. Patricia had time to answer, to give advice and to encourage us all. The most important suggestion that Patricia gave to us about my feeding has, I strongly believe, proven to be a life saver! She emphasized time and time again that it is very important to keep my weight steady and maybe even put on a couple of pounds in between the chemo treatments. For that she suggested a protein drink from a health store. “Go and get it right away!”
I would have had no idea about such a drink as a very few females browse around health food stores looking for something that increases their weight. Small market for that! But we got it, have used it regularly and I have maintained my weight. Not only that but I feel it has also been giving me the strength to bounce back to my feet after strong five day chemo sessions. Without this product I might be one of the ‘chemo skeletons’. Thanks to Patricia I am looking and feeling pretty good.
For the following home visits I got Andrea Pasmino. She was most pleasant, attentive and caring. I was in good hands again. Andrea also had different tricks for me as to how to make my life easier with my current situation. She made an extra effort to be here when I needed her and when it was convenient for me.
Patricia came to see me for the last visit. In the meanwhile she had arranged for two extra visits, so she would be comfortable that I felt safe on my own. During this visit Patricia went far and beyond the call of duty to help me: she contacted the Huntington Senior Care Network and even though I am not a senior yet, she convinced them to take care of my case also. For the first and only time since I even found out having a terminal cancer, I had to cry. And they were good tears!!! I felt like somebody had just lifted an elephant from my chest, I felt somebody really cared, I felt that now I could relax and concentrate taking care of myself instead of fighting against bureaucracy and dealing with an endless stack of paperwork. Somebody was on MY side with this issue also.
Mr. Dovlatyan, if the rest of your employees have even 1/3 of the kindness, skills, caring and dedication toward their assigned patients as Andrea and Patricia have, you could be very proud of your group. But I have a feeling that the others are very close to these two forerunners. Yet I feel that I was blessed by your two best angels on earth.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Dear Sirs,
I was a recent patient of yours and want to commend the nurse you sent to my home to care for me for more than two weeks, Ryan del Carmen.
He is an extremely competent nurse who knows a lot about medicine. He proved to be an excellent advisor. He was also very good about keeping me informed as to what times he could be there. I know that he had a very busy schedule but unfailingly called to advise on changes of his schedule so that I could schedule my own activities.
I appreciate knowing him; he represents the best in home health care.
After my husband came home from the hospital Emma visited him several times. She was wonderful and knew the right thing to say. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciated her caring spirit. She was great.

This note is to express to you the gratitude and appreciation my mother and I have for Kristen Varikian, RN and Kristine Soultanian, LVN. Had it not been for their referral to take my mother to see Dr. Shami, my mother would still be in horrible pain. She had spinal surgery and is able to walk. This is a miracle! You have 2 gems at your establishment that should be acknowledged.
Thank you ever so much!

Dear Pasadena Home Health Care Family,
I wish to memorialize the statement that I made to you on the telephone today, that my father is very pleased with the level of attention and care provided by your staff in assisting his recovery from his ear surgery. Initially, he was quite resistant to the concept of having someone come every day and tend to his wound, and it is very difficult to change his mind once it is set. Yet, your staff was able to overcome his resistance and it took no more than a visit or two for him to realize its value.
My father has a number of infirmities which can make him a difficult person with which to communicate but he expressed nothing but appreciation for the job they performed.

Dear Pasadena Home Health Care Family,
Thank you for the exquisite floral heart you sent for Dr. Memorial Service. The flowers were exceptionally beautiful and looked so stately on its easel. I was deeply touched by your thoughtfulness.
You were so kind to Dr. Smith during the last two episodes of care you gave him. Four nurses were extremely helpful and thorough in looking after him and I will always be grateful.
Life will be so different without Dr. Smith. I will miss him terribly.
Again, thank you for your thoughtfulness and care.
